I've got a '67 wm300 that I've used for over 30 years to plow my driveway.... Sadly over the weekend the ole girl broke for the first time. While pushing a pile of snow my heart sunk to the sound of a loud pop from the front Differential. I took it out of 4wd, climbed under and gave the front drive shaft a spin by hand...and it spins smoothly with no gringing what so ever....So I'm wondering what you all think I broke. Being we're still in a bit of a storm cycle, and I have no garage that it will fit in I can't dive into it yet and see (and I'm not so sure if I want to as I'm not sure how involved it's going to be and I'll have to be doing it all in a snowy driveway). Nonetheless I'm wondering if anyone has an idea as to what I'm in for and if parts will even be available. I assume to even change the pinion (as I'm guessing that's what snapped) I'll have to pull the front axle... Is that correct? Thanks!!
