Internal corrosion of the aluminum? Aluminum is like stainless steel, it forms an oxide layer that seals the metal from fruther corrosion. Aluminum oxide is one of the hardest substances on earth (it's in most grinding wheels and sandpaper).

Corrosion shouldn't be any worse than copper. Besides I think most are anodized inside too.

The nicest part about the aluminum piping systems is the connections. They use a fitting system that can be installed and removed without tools. That garage-pac stuff also has really nice drop fittings with the moisture loop built in as well as a slick two-stage quick connect system for your air fittings.

Other than time to install though it won't save you money over copper or iron.
