for me. My most recent was about 8 months ago. But, each experience has been different. It seems like the rules change on a daily basis, and the DMV's do not communicate with each other. Same exact papers get handled a different way at each agency. Sometimes it take 2 or 3 trips back and forth before its all done. One time, I went to three different DMV's in one day, and the last one put all the out of state papers through with no problem. Walked out with NJ title in 15 minutes. Amazing. Absolutly amazing. I will spare everyone here my usual rant about NJ DMV. But those that have heard it know what I mean.
