$50 bucks for the large drum shaft with keys cut and ready to go sounds pretty reasonable to me. I got a deal in making the smaller input worm shaft for $30 at a local machine shop through a friend, so $50 for the drum shaft looks pretty decent. Also, don't know if you saw my reply to your earlier post regarding removing the timken cups, but, maybe the seals can be removed without taking them out? I got the cups out without any problem with a punch and hammer. Steve
