It would be good to get your hands on their drafts

A few rough drafts, plus several hundred hours of research on the drafts and new information, and there might be enough to pass on to the next guy that gives up...

The reason I brought up the wiki is that it is a very low effort thing, and yet nobody has made that effort to correct the mistakes. Unless someone else is correcting it back?

The problem I have is the time, I could create some good text, and bug others to share details I don't know, but I can't justify the hundreds and hundreds of hours it would take just to publish for free on the web.

Real publishing might turn out to be a vanity project, where the cost of publishing outstripped the return as no publishing house would publish the weighty tomes needed to cover the subject properly.

Looking at other subjects, like AC Cobras, or 911s, 1955-57 Chevy cars, or Jeeps, there are a number of small volumes covering each subject on the same level as Don Bunn's 48-53 book, as far as I have seen.

Even a book like Don Bunns B series or C series books would be better than what is out there now for Power Wagons.

The thing I think would sell is limited, thoroughly researched, and an easy read. But even that would be a TON of labor.

Eric
