I have never seen any mention of a fairlead in any Dodge parts books, photos, or sales literature.

I have seen one fabricated fairlead on a Power-Wagon owned by a local construction company. They used 2-1/2" tubing for the rollers. The opening matched the size of the gap between the split bumpers, both horizontally and vertically.

Could you attach a photo?
