for a biotech. The employees (160) used PC workstations and laptops, but if you went into the IT room itself, they all had MAC's! We've had both in our household and while the MAC's are more money, they seem to last twice as long. And they are more stable. I noticed the latest MAC laptop we got is machined from a solid block of aluminum.
