US 3 ton chassis, Canadian Welles-Thornton 6 x 4 rear body conversion, went as cab abd chassis to the UK where they were fitted with workshop truck bodies to supplement supplies of a similar Austin
Wnt all over Europe and north Africa, including captured by Germans. One survivor belongs to the Ashley clan in England. Cab was too far gone so Dave Bulter supplied another, and rear body can be rebuilt as it was a stock wooden workshop with beam and crane affair.
