That was fast. Good job. I spent part of the day rifling through our collection of PW parts in VT. Frank is going through his axles, tcase, diffs, gearbox replacing every bearing bushing and seal. Of course we have no new parts laying around so I'll be gathering some for him. Amazing how much stuff we've gathered over time, wondering if any will get used but can't throw it out either. Friday AM we're at a local engine shop, last week he dropped of a Poly I picked up from Greg in NY. $1,991 to rebuild it with a 12 mo unlimited mile warranty. So it looks like that's going into his truck next year. I have to figure out how much to sell it to him for. So how much for a Poly needing a rebuild? I guess whatever it costs me to get another one, plus an NP435 I got from Rob Blair. I drove my M37 to VT on Thanksgiving morning. Nice drive, no problems, except for a Jeep comment in Claremont NH. Cashier said she was drooling over my Jeep. I smiled and said Dodge. A lady in the line said her husband just said he drove one of those in Vietnam. Talked to him outside. Later I pull over to let some tailgater by. 1/2 hour later I'm at the house and my sister sees me pull in and asks if that was me who pulled over for her? I asked how many other M37's have you seen driving around VT on Thanksgiving morning? Anyway it was great to see her and the family and friends. We talked about the rally next summer, I have to wait for one schedule to come out before I can commit to a date. We'll know soon though. August, 1st or 2nd weekend. Went for a ride in the woods, probably scared away all the buck getting the hunters mad. Oh well. Did some shooting too, trap/sheet, did pretty good. Installed a steering stablizer for the CT to VT ride. Much improved handling, kept those 11x18s much more straight. Lot's of drivel tonight, at least most OT, on topic?
