I've been reading the forum for about two and a half years now while I've been working on restoring my 1946. It is finally on the road so I thought I'd share my photos. Early on decided to keep it as original as possible - retained the 6 volt system and scrounged all around for 1946 correct parts/accessories, many of which once found had to be restored themselves prior to use. There are a few minor odds and ends that I have to still finalize and I haven't cleaned up the rear PTO system yet, so it is still on the shop floor. Still trying to find some of the more hard to find parts, but that will likely be a never ending process and this has become my hobby and hope to make it so for a long, long time!! There are probably those on the forum who may recognize my name from phone calls, emails, ebay purchases, etc. there are too many names to list to thank everyone individually and the information in the forum has been invaluable to say the least, so thank you all. Really no one in my direct area, that I know of, with another FFP...so I really did rely on the old manuals, parts books, the forum, emails and phone calls to get this done and done in a fashion that I think is pretty close to "stock". Hope the photos come through and the link to the other finished photos of the truck comes through. I will be putting up some of the original photos and in process photos as time permits. Thanks again and hopefully the photos will be accessible (I tried to follow the FAQ instructions). Forest
