Unfortunately, I don't have the names of any of the guys in that picture. I know the bomber well. Is it still there? The last time I went down that road, the holly farm that was nearby had become the "holly farm mall" or "holly farm apartments" or some such. My dad always made sure to drive by the bomber since he flew on them during the war.
I never heard any mention of any "Birds" amongst the old-timers in my family, who mostly lived out around Dickey Prairie, Silverton, Maple Grove, Mulino, Scotts Mills, Colton, and maybe Estacada. My grandfather had a sister in Milwaukie, maiden name Sherman, married a Roberts. The surnames I remember mostly were Sherman (of course), Schafer, Adams, Davis, Callahan, Klingler (all kin), and others were Staundinger, Kokel, Freyer, Dickey, and Striker.
