I really liked Sarah when she was in office, and what she represented and accomplished. She truly was a breath of fresh air. However, when she stepped out of her comfort zone and hit the campaign trail I began to change my mind. When she began with all the little snide comments she was no different from the rest of them. I agree she probably did the right thing in stepping down as I don't feel as though she could have effectively governed afterwards. Having said that I also feel it was probably driven by the chance to make a buck. Personally I wouldn't vote for her. I would say she was treated unfairly by the press, but she does bring a lot of it upon herself. Polish her up a bit, gain a little more experience and she "might" be a viable candidate, but she is perceived as damaged goods and a quitter by too many to make an effective run.
