Terry this is Chris's technique on LAV wheels. I have his parts on loan at the moment :-) The combats should come loose w/o heat. I vote for the drive around a bit with the ring loosened or after loosening the stud nuts, hit the ring w/ a rubber mallet a few times. Do not loosen the nuts and then re inflate to POP the ring off to be caught by the loosened nuts, I know a guy w/ a couple of broken ankles to show for that one ( not me but it could have been :-) Kurt
