Yesterday morining i get a call from my oldest daughter ,she is going to to a provincial park with a group > she asked if i could pick her up at 3 30 pm she gave me co orindinates where she would be > I didnt like her directions and i am not familiar with this park (big a$$ park) > i was a little nervous about this and the group of tree huggers she was with so i grabbed one of my older boys eddie the rat to go pick her up > got there at three waited and did not like what i saw > i talked this spot over with my son eddie the rat and said no way any one is going to meet us here a wide river with rapids was raging away and no trails > There was a steep hill 1/4 mile long about 45 degrees or better we disscused taking the P W up go overland to another entrance to the park > I was afraid that if we slid backwards down the hill we would end up in the river so we went around to the other entrance by road> next entrance trip ate a hour of our time now 4 30p pm darkness in half hour > nothing but goat paths at the other side so started running roads just looking for a group > well at 5 pm we burned a lot of fuel and burned alot of these goat paths up and just luck plain old luck i made a turn on a fork in a road LEFT i usaully go right on a fork (dont ask why) six miles down the path we found them > now my daughter looked at me and she new i was concerned, and i didnt say a word > when we got home late i said you know better than to head in to woods like that unequipt thats all ~ Copey
