What did you find? With all that work, I hope you found some bad bearings. How were the gear teeth? Any sign of anything hitting the inside of the case? Any bits of metal in the sump? Any rust on polished surfaces?

Sorry, I don't know about the detailed assembly drawing, but speaking from experience if you have any part left over when you're done, and you're trying to convince yourself it wasn't important, don't, because it is. Not sure about that particular box, but if it has tapered roller bearings, you might need shims (added or removed) to just take up the slack in the bearings. Too loose, and you'll still have noise, too tight, and the bearings will wear fast.
