I am not aware of any shim type head gaskets or aftermarket cams but hey may be out there somewhere. I have my cams reground that way i can get exactly what I want. Vintage PWs offers a reground cam but since you live near the big cities i bet you can find a cam grinder who will have any grind you want available. In my Command car I had one ground for horsepower because i would never haul anything. it towed great towing wheeless vehicles out of the forest. my last one was a Weapons carrier and I did haul stuff and opted for the torquier grind. either way makes a big difference.
