Kaegi....Thanks for the info. I don't know the history of the engine, but it starts easily on 6 volts, with 12 VOLT BATTERY CABLES.(Obviously the previous owner was an auto electric 'whiz'..LOL) Runs smooth, no smoke, good oil pressure. My question is; are 'hotter'cams available over-the-counter, so to speak, or must I have a stock one re-ground? I know at one time a little raise in compression could be gained using thinner head gaskets. I'm an old G.M. guy...kinda new to the mopars...don't know all that's out there.
