do not suffer the radial tire age problems
just take load off & keep sunlight away
ie black garbage bags to fend off ozone
now radials are different
we had a problem with Michelin XPS on our motor home & Michelin even replaced the new
spare never seen the light of day still had
its label due to the age but was over 6 years
old. The tires were about 20-25 % worn, i had just inspected & checked the pressure, my
wife went on a 300 mile round trip and when she returned the tires had circumferental splits at the rim area and 2 had little bubbles on the sidewalls near the bead area
so we got a pro-rated warranty adjustment on
all 9 tires.
