Hi folks. 52 M37 with a HUGE oil leak from the front main, fuel pump area, etc IF i put the oil cap on tight.
The truck runs great with no smoke or anything like that but leaks oil on the highway if the oil cap is on tight. Not a drop in town.
I have checked the PCV valve and it appears to be free. I don't know what else to check. I have had this truck for years and this has just become an issue in the past few months.
I see no oil like blowby from the cap when it's off. The truck runs 55mph on it's 11.00 x 16's and seems by all accounts to be a good motor, Ie, I don't think it's worn out at all. THOUGHTS?
