The '47 WDX I bought had GMC centered rear axle in the back, front drive shaft removed. Previous owner drove it to Kokomo, IN from California towing a trailer with a little car in it & all his belongings in it. Also on the trip was a Wife & baby. I bet she still hates that truck. He just bolted it in & hooked up brake lines. Bake
