the number one consideration is body and frame condition. all other issues are easily addressed with the application of money and time. a rust free unit in the northeast is rare and a premium paid for rust free is worthwhile. depending on your intent, a winch, hardtop and rear seat bracketry are nice. a fender mounted heater is a plus if you are a purist, but a well executed bus heater is a better choice. i bought a good unit with a dead #6 cylinder. drove it a while, then rebuilt the motor & went through the entire driveline before doing a helitool engine, brakes and steering. then i sold it! kept my command car. the m37 was more useful, but no room inside for 2 kids + wife.
