I have had the same experience whe I ran oilite in the front of a WC52 that i used to offroad. the best way is to get spring busings from a spring house, or sometimes you can find NOS M37 spring bushings on epay and cut them down to length. The stock type bushings are very tough. some kind of tin or steel backed bronze affair. now we have 4 cents ;/)
