Location of A-Frame Mounts

I have a set of original cast mounts for mounting an A-frame on the front of a WDX-WM300 Power wagon. Also have a fender mount for the third arm that adjusts the angle, with a bracket that reinforces the fender under the mount. Anyway, what is the best location to attach the front mounts to the frame, and why?
