Gordon, by pass the factory Mickey Mouse pump and install an AirDog filter and pump. I did and have never had below 14PSI fuel pressure. It has two filters, one for water and one for filtering fuel. It mounts under the cab on the frame with no drilling of holes. It's solid unit and has an excellent install manual with plenty of pictures. I put one on my 01 last year at this time and haven't looked back. The old pump stays in place and is bypassed completely. They go for around $500 I think. Better than the FASS system from the reports I've read. The factory pump will FAIL without warning.
