I have the frame with attached axles from a 1947 2-ton Dodge truck that has 5 lug wheels with 8.25 x 20 tires mounted on them, but the bolt circle is larger than the Power Wagon bolt circle. I was going to swap the 8.25 x 20's onto my PW to use on the road, then swap back to the 9.00 x 16's for off roading. Just last weekend, I spotted a truck frame with attached axles that had a 5 lug Budd type wheel that appeared to be the same bolt circle as the PW, but the tires mounted on the wheels were a mixture of 8.00 x 17, 7.50 x 17.5 and 7.00 x 17. My guess is that some of the tires, probably the 17.5's, were incorrectly mounted on 17" rims. I will be checking into this some more. My guess is that this frame may be a 1-ton or 1.5-ton International or Studebaker truck. By the way, it is 2 wheel drive and very beefy.
