Hi everyone!
Well, I'm a proud owner of a 1965 red/black Dodge PowerWagon. Thanx to John whom I met from this forum, I purchased it on Monday and will pick it up in a few weeks. I'm looking for a trailer to the specifics that people have mentioned here (in fact, I believe my neighbor's trailer is good enough...hmmm) :) and it will be at my house soon. :) I've dreamed of owning one since '89 but never had the oppurtunity...
Now the questions:
1) My son loves the truck and I want to take him for rides in it. Problem is there is no seat belts. Anyone ever put any in? Are there any after market kits to do this?
2) The truck has a 251 in it with 5:83 gears. I'm looking into changing these gears to 4:89 (thanx again to John). Is there anything else that would help mileage/speed? Now-a-days I don't feel safe on the highway unless I'm going at least 60mph...would different size tires help? It does have locking hubs in the front to switch to 2WD...will this help?
3) Where would be a good place to find manuals for this truck?
