So I drilled through, tapped, and put in threaded studs made from cut off bolts.
Of course, I blew it on the from 'DODGE". I thought I could get to the back side by reaching up through the grill to put the nuts on. Not so,mister smarty pants. So I used some handy dandy urethane sealer to glue it on. Nobody has noticed the short fall yet.
I figured those rotted old emblems are temporary. But after three years, if they get replaced it looks like it will be with some that get sawed out of aluminum or brass and get plated. Or polishable aluminum?
OOo, I just remembered I have a plasma cutter now.... until the owner finds out...
