Broke the same ball on mine. It was very scary because right after it broke there was only about an eigth inch line of clean metal were it broke. This leads me to believe that mine was cracked except for this thin strip of metal in the middle and I drive my truck on the road all the time. I used to have a front lock right, arb now and I do have a 4bt and power steering.
