The 1/2 ton to 2 ton trucks had the filler neck run through the cab into the top of the tank inside the cab, but the tank was under the cab.

No cowl lights means either military 4wd, or 2wd 1939-40. All of the 2wd closed cabs I have every seen got the cowl lights starting in 1941.

Maybe you have a 1940 COE cab? Is there a high beam indicator above the speedometer?

Are the doors held on with hex head bolts or philips head?
