I saw that one. scary. shoulder belts and air bags make a big difference. One thing to consider about that video is chevies were cosnidered weak from 58 to 65 or 66 when they ran that Xframe. that car has NO side rails. they bend very easy and the nature of that accident the malibu does not even touch the frame of the bel air. If the 59 was a unibody dodge or a side rail ford it may still have been better to be in the malibu but the difference in damage would not be the same.
