I have 4 wheel disk brakes on all my trucks. Without question, they offer better braking than drums. Properly adjusted drum brakes perform well, but not like power disks.

Look at;

Ray makes disk brake kits for PW's. You can get a idea of cost for the kits. Along with the kits, you will need to buy locally (NAPA)
Rotors, Pads, Calipers.

A few years ago we discussed price disk vs drum. If every component of the old drum system needs replacing, then the cost of converting to disk is very close.

If you do go with disk brakes, I can give you all the NAPA part numbers for Calipers, rotors, Pad, Caliper Pins. Further, if you want, email me and I will dig out the costs of these items that I paid on my last conversion.

You can shop for a used PW seat and maybe have to recover it. You can search the forum archives (top of the forum page), search on Power Wagon Seat. Some of the guys have used Dakota and Ranger seats, look nice and fit well. Its all what you want on your finished truck.
