After visiting the Mitchell memorial in Bly Or. where my Aunt was killed by the Japanese ballon bomb we visited the Japanese internment camp in Toulylake Calif.These had to be weird times for our country.
Mitchell was the only member of the party to survive the blast and later went to Vietnam as a missionary where he was captured by the vc and is still listed as a MIAPOW.
The five sunday school kids and my Aunt Elsie Mitchell were the only people to be killed on the contenental US as a result of WW2.
