For small simple cheap and popular items reproduction can pay off. For expensive, labor intensive, machine intensive items it is normally not worth it.
I can't see an exact duplicate frame costing less than $1,000 unless they made a couple thousand. Even if a couple thousand were made I doubt there are a couple thousand of buyers even at the $500-$600 price point.
If everyone that owned a 1939-47 Dodge truck, or a 1946-68 Power Wagon, or a Closed Cab WWII 4wd (WC-53, WC-1, etc) in the country agreed to buy a new frame when they came out, and put up $100 up front there might be enough demand to justify production. The price point would most likely be at least $300 even at that point for an exact duplicate, and a production run in the 10,000+ range.
