If you want to keep the rolled edge in tact you can do the following:

Get a block of wood and use a router to "inset" a hole the exact size of the reflector. Basically it is a holder to have the reflector upside down so you can work on it without dinging up the metal.

After you have the holder, which is best if you can mount on a vise or table, start to peel the rolled edge open. I modified several screw drivers(different widths) to a sharper edge and slowly peel it up. You'll have to make several rounds or stairstep this process so the back metal will come out.

Some of the bigger King Bees are just held in by the rivets but all the 295's are rolled.

When you get it repaired you can start to bend the edge back with a body hammer or such in the same holder,. Finish with a dolly and hammer on the backside till it's flat again. Labor intensive? Yes. That is why what others have said is true as sometimes it's easier just to start out with a nicer one.
