The first time I've forgotten my fire extingusher

I was about a mile from home, in my 47 FF, when I realised that I had let my fire extinguisher on the running board of the carryall because I was doing ignition work. I was only going another mile to the gas station and I thought, well, the chances of a fire are slim. On the way back home a ton of gray smoke started coming in the cab. I pulled of the side of the road and a guy said "hey, your trucks on fire"!! I ssupected the engine and saw nothing. I looked under the the truck and saw that the parking brake on the transfercase was engulfed in flames. No one had a fire extinguisher. I remembered that I had hosed down the truck and that I still had a wet towe. I wacked it about ten times and put the fire out. I will turn around next time I forget the fire extinguisher.
