I just had the exhaust redone on the trailtruck after doing the chevy TBI conversion on my 360. I was able to get the exhaust up above the lower part of the frame rail, almost tucked in the frame rail under the center of the truck. I also used this "bend to fit"(think like the flex part of a flexible straw)type exhaust pipe that Dad picked up at a swap meet.
I was having the same type of problems you are(kinks from flexing, rolling back into a rock with the muffler and pushing the exhaust system forward causing kinks and breaks, crushed by rock etc), I hope this latest set up takes care of it. If not my next plan is a set of 50's lake headers!

You should come to Texas at the end of the month and wheel with us. I think BZ is going to show us how with his land speed jeep before he heads out to Bonneville with it.
