After 1957 all the trucks of all models had the same sequential number, so if the truck was a D500 or a W300 or a S700. or a WM300 they all started with the same sequential number, and went up from there as a group, so truck 1780000 might have been a D500, and truck 1780001 a WM300. Without knowing what each truck was there is no way to know what the last serial number was on the last WM300 built for sale in the US.

2 = 4wd
4 = WM300
6 = 6cyl
1829932 = the sequential number which started with 1780000

Since there were more than 49,932 trucks built in 1968 we can't be sure. Only if I knew the ending sequential number, and you had that truck, could we be sure yours was the last WM300 made. Or if Chrysler had the records of every truck made and could see what the serial number was of the last 1968 WM300 produced. But I would guess yours is not the last.

Eric
