Today I made my 5WFFPW green. Repainted the roof and back, and newly added sides all thwe same body color.

I used the left over paints, primers, bed varnish from 5three years ago. I'm in the habit of blowing an UN-LIT propane torch into the lid that is open just a slit. Just a few seconds, then slide the torch out and shut the lid. It kept any skin from forming, or any thickening of the paint. No oxygen, only propane in the cans. Had about a quart in the gallon of PPG, now only a pint.

Truck looks good, no way anyone will see any joints in my metal work. ( a little putty and a little paint will make the welder what he ain't...) Paint is on thick enough to be able to rub down the lime peel look. In the meantime, it is a good match of texture to the rest of the truck... Do you think maybe some solvent will out-gas from the thick bumps, and they will shrink down? :~
