If I have brake cylinder pistons stuck in the bore, I screw in a grease zerk fitting in the open hole and use a standard grease gun to break it loose. If the wheel cylinder is double ended, place the wheel cylinder into a vice so it prevents one side from popping all the way out before the other side breaks loose. Of course, clean every bit of grease out of the wheel cylinder before use. This also works with disk brake calipers.
