Windshield Regulator Ribbon

Can someone tell me if the correct up/down position for the steel ribbon in the windshield regulator? My rebuilt windshield regulator was delivered with the "arch" facing down, but once installed the bracket appears that It would fit better and clear the perforation in the top of the dash if it was reversed so that the arch would face the sky. Anybody have a picture of one that is properly installed?
