What is the nature of the problem with the PC on your Buckstop bumpers? Is it a peeling problem or rock chipping problem?
Did you get them in black or in custom color?
My son got his in flat black and I got mine in silver. His black is much easier to touch up the chips than my silver, mainly in finding a good match. I have had absolutely no peeling, but more chipping than I would have liked. I will have to say that I contacted them immediately after the first 2 or 3 chips and they offered to send me another bumper and I could send mine back. I opted for a refund of the amount estimated by a local body shop to re-paint the bumper for me. I haven't done this yet, maybe this winter. I'm not sure any powder coat or paint would fully resist rock chips when the majority of roads I drive on are either gravel or sanded in the winter.
Now, I have had 5 sets of wheels sand blasted and powder coated by Les Schwab Tire Co. at their facility in Oregon, and they are all holding up very well, with no sign of rock chips or peeling. I agree with Marty, it's all in the preparation and the final process, just as it is in just about everything. JH
