I have an Eastwood cabinet that always had the same problem. I purchased a cheapo Harbor friegth presure blaster and solved that problem. I collect the media in a 5 gallon bucket and screen it while pouring it back into the blaster. My screen fits in the funnel that is sized for the fill hole in the little blast unit. If blasting for a few hours expect to change tips. Again harbor freight has a ceramic tip multi pack.

Any moisture can change performance. I live in a dry area in Colorado and occasionally have moisture issues. Drain your tank at least once daily. Blasting moves a bunch of air. It is amazing how much moisture collects.

I messed around with the siphon method with no luck at all.

Good luck.
