Have a ffpw w/ 1st series bed but no fenders. See a number of 2nd series fenders available. How much of a pain would it be to modify 2nd series fenders to use on 1st series bed? Could one simply bolt the 2nd series fenders to/thru the 1st series bed walls, or would that draw the fenders in too close to the bed? Also, it seems a pain to modify those fenders to properly bolt to the 1st series bed. Any thoughts - other than the obvious; why would one do such a stupid/labor-intensive thing? rwrpw
