Is that the Reiter Road area? I heard the state was going to close it down because it's getting too trashed by too many ORV and dirt bike people. I used to live over there and I actually just drove through part of it yesterday. I saw a lot of Kelly humps, eco-block barriers, and "road closed" signs, but it still looked like a lot of people were driving ATVs around. Didn't see any roads that were wide enough for a PW but too rough for a car, though.
I think if more PW owners and other responsible types used the area, it wouldn't get trashed so much by the party kids from Seattle and Everett. It seems like most of the few remaining un-gated dirt roads within 50 miles of Seattle end in a pile of half-burned furniture, shot-up appliances, and shell casings. The authorities seem to think the solution is more barriers to keep the bad guys out, but I think it would be better to try to keep the roads open but get more of the good guys in.
