Oh God help me, I am indeed headed down the slippery slope, I have the follow Roger where ever he goes bug, where does it end? (Isn't there something about part of the solution is admitting the problem?)

Thanks, yea I admit I like more and more challenges, but thought (hoped) the stock axles were good enough. I should have known with having to move to the Foote axles in the rear, I'd eventually break a front, just not this soon. Figured my mildly built 318 and the 39.5" SS's would be tame enough, but provide enough performance.
Bruce's work came to min the moment I knew I was broke. It's one of those questions, keep putting more money into the M's axle housings, or swap them out. The ARB's could go into my Power Wagon's, as well as the Disc Brakes. I suspect my first repair, providing availability and cost will be to put another stock axle in and lay off the front ARB, and only use it as absolutely required. then start thinking about the longer term approach.
Oh Well I built it for fun and repairs are fun,
