My understanding there are 2 versions of the 5 speed one is 1 to 1 in 5th no overdrive and one is an overdrive. My truck is the 318 poly. I dont think the trucks were available with the 361 till after 67 only option to that point was the flat six and the 318 premium which is the 318 poly. I have a parts truck as well as my driver but alas no trans. If you can get by with a single port any D500 to D700 should do the trick.
