OK, I've mocked up the dual circuit 1 ton GM MC (using a wooden bracket) 10" forward and 8 degrees less of an angle than stock. I am not as happy as I'd hoped to be with the result. The brake line outlets would exit the MC just below the frame, and the brake rod would be over 21" long. I was OK with having to pull the battery and tray to service it, but the line exit point with full articulation (frame twist and spring movement), and the rod length now concern me.

I may now admit defeat and either either buy a 67-71 brake pedal setup, or one of the Hanging Pedal setups. But before I do here is my question:

Has anyone installed front Disc Brakes only, and used the original single circuit MC? If so, what have the braking results been?

Thanks,
Will
