Similar thing happened to me in a 2004 ram 2500 with 6 speed.

The truck was about 60 days old and the thing quit in the middle of an intersection.

I could re-start it but it kept wanting to die.

Towed it to the dealer and they fixed it under warranty.

Lift pump - you know the re-designed one that was NEVER going to fail??

IT TOOK OVER A MONTH TO FIX!!! THEY WERE BACK ORDERED WORLDWIDE ON THE LIFT PUMP!!

I really like my truck, but between the lift pump going out and the throttle position sensor going out within the first 6 months I began to wonder if I had erred.

But after the those two parts and a re-flash of the computer the truck has (knock wood) been running fine ever since.
