when i was a kid Bucyrus erie made the shovel i believe and the i dont recall who made the the car sometime cars were made by the RR comp > it was the steam era the these were used in it would have been self propelled so you could move it with out tieing up a locomotive later on they were using oil to make the steam not coal > some one had tracks put on that to use it off road i dont think tracks were readily available till the twentys they prob came of a cat at some point but hey i could be once in a while ~ copey
