When I bought my '54 M37, the Jerry can pan and bracketry were not on the truck. This truck must never have had it mounted because there are no holes in the side of the cab. There ARE holes in the passenger ft fender. At first I thought that someone had drilled the holes wrong in the fender because there is no way they will line up with the pan right up against the cab. Then I realized they are NOT wrong. The pan MUST be away somewhat from the cab (less at the back, more at the front because the cab tapers toward the front of the truck) because the windshield is NOT tapered and if it was folded down on the hood, it would come right down on the Jerry can. There MUST be some kind of spacers between the Jerry can pan and the cab. Does anyone have a cartoon of the parts and how they all go? Thanks Folks!!
